Promoting sustained, open and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and ensuring decent jobs for all

Sustainable development encourages the delimitation of economic growth from negative environmental aspects; In addition, it emphasizes social issues. This goal implies sustainable economic growth and promotes decent work for all, regardless of gender, geographical location and descent.

În acest context, devine vitală abordarea din perspectiva nimeni nu rămâne în urmă. Acest scop include facilitarea întreprinderilor mici şi mijlocii, diversificarea economiei şi extinderea procedurii la regiunile în dezvoltare.

 

Targets:

8.1 Supporting economic growth per capita according to the national situation and, in particular, the increase of the Gross Domestic Product by at least 7% per year, in the least developed countries.

8.2 Achieve higher levels of productivity through diversification, technological modernization and innovation, including by focusing on high value-added sectors and intensive use of labor.

8.4 Gradually improve, by 2030, the efficiency of global resources for consumption and production, but also decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation, in line with the 10-Year Framework for Sustainable Consumption and Production Programs, led by developed countries.

8.5 By 2030, full and productive employment, as well as decent work for all women and all men, including young people and people with disabilities, but also equal pay for work of equal value.

8.6 By 2030, a substantial reduction in the proportion of young people without a job, without education or training.

8.7 Immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labor, eliminate modern slavery and trafficking in human beings, and ensure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labor, including the recruitment and use of child labor, and, by 2025, the elimination of child labor in all its forms.

8.8 Protecting the right to work and promoting safe and secure working environments for all workers, including migrant workers, especially migrant women, and those in precarious employment.

8.9 By 2030, develop and implement policies to promote sustainable tourism that creates jobs and promotes local culture and products.

8.10 Strengthen the capacity of domestic financial institutions to encourage and expand access to banking, insurance and financial services for all.
